“Do you stay there for travel or leisure?” There are a few questions that you will hear over and over again. And this one is probably one of your famous ones if you travel a lot. And we mean A LOT. Because you are getting so used to this question at the hotel reception, you may not think about other options. But why making this distinction in the first place?
Goodbye old world, welcome new one: BLEISURE
And it makes a lot of sense. In our most recent series “How To Travel More Often” we suggested to make the effort in combining your leisure adventures with business travels. It has some advantages, e.g. your air fare to your destination will be covered by your employer and you have a chance to explore the region even deeper by taking advantage of weekends, public holidays or a combination of official business and your annual leave plannings.
It’s not odd to do bleisure travels. It’s getting growing popularity
According to a BBC article from October 2018, not only entry-level employees in large organisations take advantage of the bleisure movement.
