There is a reason why some travellers are the better educators.
They travel because exploring the unknown has always been a key trigger in their life. Some of us always seek destinations that are far away from home as they seem so untouchable and strange to us. But sometimes we realise how little we actually know about the place where we live.
There are not so many people out who actually enjoyed history lessons at school. And there is a little fraction that is familiar with the history of one’s own country. But how can you get in touch with your own country’s history and culture?
Have you ever explored the magnificent places, sights and attractions in your region? Have you ever visited a museum that captures history in your region? Or what about the local food?
Local travel destinations may look unattractive at first but can bring you many new facets and aspects about the place you call “home”.
